About Dean Sunil Kumar
Sunil Kumar is the Dean and George Pratt Shultz Professor of Operations Management at Chicago Booth. Kumar's academic research includes performance evaluation and control of manufacturing systems, service operations, and communications networks. In particular, he studies systems affected by stochastic variability via mathematical models. He also studies application of optimization methods and control theory to managerial problems. Kumar has published dozens of scholarly research articles and has served as the editor of the Stochastic Models area of the journal Operations Research. About Rolf Friedli, '96 (EXP-1)
Rolf Friedli is partner of Capvis Equity Partners AG in Zurich. He has been active in the private equity industry since 1995 when he joined SBC Equity Partners Ltd, the predecessor organisation of Capvis. Previously, he worked with Goldman Sachs Investment Banking in New York and London, Clariden Bank Asset Management and SBC Warburg (Capital Markets) in Zurich. Rolf currently serves on the boards of various international companies (private and stock-exchange quoted). In addition he serves on various charitable foundations. Rolf holds an MBA from Chicago Booth and serves on the EMEA Cabinet of the Chicago Booth Global Advisory Board.
