The "Art of Working a Room" will give you the practice and planning tools you need to benefit your business. Effective networking, of course, is more than just shaking hands. Working the room is just the start, the tip of the iceberg. The real power from networking comes from what you do in the hours, days, and weeks after meeting a potential business partner or client. Denise Barreto, chief relationship officer of Relationships Matter Now will share how people / companies / organizations can make their relationships better and allow them to function to their highest potential. She will focus on three aspects of relationships:
• Discovering and growing a strong relationship with self,
• Skill building for maintaining healthy relationships with others, and
• Creating relationship-friendly cultures and environments

The new system for the AMC Theater- River East Self Park Garage is automated: Insert your parking card in the validator and the new price will be automatically applied. You can also validate your parking ticket at any time between your arrival at and departure from the Gleacher Center. When you leave the lot, you will be charged for the lower $6.00 fee.

a) When traveling east on Illinois cross over Columbus and enter the Garage on the left (north) side of the street. b) If driving west on Grand (north of Theater), you can enter the garage ½ block before Columbus on the left (south) side of the street.

Well versed in the value of networking, Mr. Ortale will share networking tips that have helped empower his established corporate clients and those still in the start-up stage.

Chief Relationship Officer, Relationships Matter Now

Denise W. Barreto is the Chief Relationship Officer and Founder of Relationship Matter Now. She is a dynamic marketing leader who has spent all of her career building relationships with consumers on behalf of brands such as US Soccer, AT&T, Miller Brewing Company, the Chicago Fire Major League Soccer Team, United Airlines, Pella Window and Doors and most recently, Sears. Her over 17 years experience analyzing consumer data, using it to build actionable marketing campaigns to mobilize and engage consumers and internal corporate audiences alike, make her uniquely qualified to lead Relationships Matter Now. Her lifelong passion for politics and service led her to run for and win public office in 2009. She currently serves on the Lake in the Hills Village Board of Trustees through 2013.
