Event Details

Mauizio Arrigo joined Quilvest in 2006 and heads the direct investment team based in Paris. He sits on the Investment Committee deciding on direct deals worldwide and on the Investment Committee of the QS PEP fund of fund program. Maurizio has more than 10 years of experience in private equity. In 2000, he co-founded Kangaroo Village, an early stage investment firm, which he and his partners successfully sold to Société Générale Asset Management. Maurizio was then responsible of the bank’s venture capital funds.

Prior to that, from 1992 to 2000, Maurizio held various line management positions, from plant manager to country manager at Schneider Electric, the leading electrical equipment manufacturer. He also served as the assistant of one of the members of the Group's Executive Committee and was part of the e-business task force directly reporting to the CEO.

Maurizio started his career in 1988 as a consultant with Booz Allen Acquisition Services, where he worked on assignments for various international industrial groups aimed at defining and executing their acquisition strategies in Europe. Maurizio holds a MS in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
