The Chicago Booth Tech Alumni community invites you to join us for Booth Industry Insights. This event provides an opportunity for alumni that work in the same industry to connect with each other and expand their local networks. There will be a short program featuring Anshu Bhardwaj, '08. Anshu is the SVP of Global Solutions Engineering for PayPal. Drawing on Anshu's impressive track record of innovation at both Sam's Club (Scan & Go) and now PayPal (digital wallets), her presentation From Scan & Go to Digital Wallets: Leading Transformative Customer Experiences focuses on how customer-centric technology creates competitive advantage. The presentation will explore how technical innovation and business strategy intersect to create breakthrough user experiences. Following the presentation will be ample time to mix and mingle with other attendees.

Anshu Bhardwaj recently joined PayPal as the SVP of Global Solutions Engineering. Anshu is based in San Jose.

Global Solutions Engineering delivers products for Global Markets, including Digital Wallets, cross-border, and cross-network digital wallets.

Prior to joining PayPal, Anshu served as the SVP & COO, Technology Strategy and Operations at Walmart, where she led the digital transformation of Global eCommerce, Sam's Club, and Walmart Global Tech. At Sam's Club, Anshu served as Chief Product Officer of SamsClub.com, leading the development of Scan & Go, an industry-first cashier-less checkout experience delivered through the Sam's Club app.

Anshu serves on the University of Chicago Alumni Board and is a passionate champion of culture and values. At Walmart, she sponsored Women in Technology, and today, she serves on the advisory board of Lesbians Who Tech. Anshu lives in San Francisco with her family and loves to celebrate Indian cultural heritage with her children and friends.
