The Chicago Booth Tech Alumni community invites you to join us for Booth Industry Insights. Booth Industry Insights aims to connect alumni that work in the same industry. There will be a short program featuring Vahé Torossian, '10, President and Chief Partner Officer of Builder.ai. Mr. Torossian will share the story behind his decision to transition from major tech giant, Microsoft, to a smaller brand at Builder.ai. As he reflects on his career journey, Mr. Torossian will delve into the opportunities at emerging tech companies and the industry impact you can have at these businesses. Whether or not you are looking to make a career transition in the tech industry, this event will provide valuable insights on how to strategically navigate your career to maximize impact and growth.

Vahé Torossian is the President and Chief Partner Officer of Builder.ai, the AI powered composable software platform that allows every business and entrepreneur to become digitally enabled. In this role, he is responsible for accelerating the company's overall growth within SMB and Enterprise segments, driving the Go-to-Market (GTM), and developing strategic partnerships across hyperscalers, SI/GSIs and consulting strategy firms. Vahé enagles customers to turn their ideas into tangible business outcomes by leveraging Builder.ai's innovative platform, product and services, leading a major paradigm shift in the industry.
Vahé is an agile, internationally regognized, and accomplished executive in the global tech sector witha long track record of sclaing businesses and steering aggressive growth for multibillion-dollar organizations. Prior to stepping into the start-up world, he spent three decades in high-impact leadership roles at Microsoft shaping their digital transformation strategies. A long time Corporate Vice President for the tech giant, Vahé successively lead several global organizations such as their Business Applications group and their Small, Mid-market, Corporate Accounts and Partner group. He was also CEO of Microsoft Western Europe, Microsoft France and Microsoft Central and Eastern Europe, three large multi-faceted geographies.
Known for challenging the status quo, setting bold ambitions and delivering against them with cutting-edge GTM innovations, Vahé has a unique understanding of cross-country, multicultural business challenges. A positive leader, he cares deeply about his people and customers, carrying contagious positive energy day in and day out.
Vahé also serves as Senior Advisor to a selection of leading global Private Equity firms. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and lives in Seattle with his wife and two daughters.
