All women in the Chicago Booth network of Switzerland are invited to join this virtual Holiday Tea event to reconnect with fellow Boothies or meet new ones.
Event Details
This year, the US celebrated the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and women's constitutional right to vote.
In Switzerland, women were first able to vote less than 50 years ago, and the last canton granted the right to vote to women just about 30 years ago. Let us join in together to raise a toast to celebrate these events and honor the courageous women who fought and continue to fight for equality!
Please wear something white, gold or purple for our virtual holiday tea, bring a hot beverage to toast with, and be prepared to share either a fun or obscure fact about women suffrage, or significant wins for women, or a short personal story about what women suffrage means to you personally or even about your first voting experience.
This is a casual networking event where we'll connect, share, and learn from each other.
Look forward to seeing you virtually!
