Alfa Bumira (Speaker) '16
Founder and CEO, Prospark
Alfa is a lifelong entrepreneur, adventurer, and a technology enthusiast. As the CEO of ProSpark, he is focused on the company's growth strategy in Indonesia and in ASEAN region.
Prior to forming ProSpark, Alfa has worked for technology companies in the United States in Silicon Valley such as Apple Inc. and Rockwell Automation. He also has extensive commercial and engineering experiences across multiple industries in the CPG, Manufacturing, Energy, Consulting, Health Care, and E-commerce sectors with multinational companies such as Proctor & Gamble & Johnson & Johnson. Additionally, Alfa founded two other ventures in e-commerce and health & fitness space, enjoys mentoring the youth, and currently serves as a senior advisor for an e-Commerce company.
Alfa completed his MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has spent some time at the University of Cape Town Business School focusing on entrepreneurship and venture capital in emerging markets. He also holds a Masters & Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University and an Associates degree in Computer Science from Atlanta Metropolitan College.
