We pick a different topic every year and invite a panel or a speaker to discuss the topic. This year's topic is Women In Tech.
Come join fellow Booth women to talk about Women in Tech. Hosts Victoria Gustafson (2001) and Zora Senat (2018) will moderate a panel of highly successful women with diverse experience in this space. We will discuss unique opportunities and challenges that the rapidly changing tech marketplace presents to women and share advice on how to capture immediate opportunities and prepare yourself to succeed in the future.
After the panel discussion, you will have an opportunity to network and enjoy an open bar and gourmet appetizers in a friendly setting with a great view of Chicago's River North neighborhood. So, join us and bring a friend!

Shari is an accomplished global business consultant with over 25 years of experience. Shari has founded and run two technology startups in the competitive sports services space, one of which is in operation now. She built her technology foundation as an engineer working with the B2 and F15 fighter programs, implementing the first cellular systems across the US, Asia and Latin America, as well as GPS and data centers. Shari spent many years as a management consultant, driving major global technology transformations and account management with a 2 year expatriation in Europe. Her current independent consulting practice focuses on demand-side optimization in sales, marketing and business development in IoT, AI and Wireless technologies.

Katie started her career in the logistics insurance industry in 2007 as an Account Manager for Avalon's National Accounts department. After working with clients such as UPS and DHL on their risk management and surety bond needs, Katie accepted a position in Avalon's IT department to grow and manage the business analyst team. At first, her primary goal was to be the voice of the business and serve as the reminder that the heart of all IT initiatives should positively impact corporate goals and strategies. Within a few years, Katie was asked to start the analytics department and tackle initiatives which would answer business questions with data.

Zora Senat is President of Exact Data, a database marketing company based here in Chicago. Zora joined Exact Data as its first marketing employee in 2011 and is the first woman to lead the company since its founding in 2001. In her rise to executive leadership, Zora focused primarily on implementing marketing technology with the purpose of lowering client acquisition costs and improving returns on advertising spend. She also designed and implemented proprietary web applications and CRM customizations to advance daily operations.

Victoria is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Chicago Graham School of Professional Studies.
