Ron Papanek, AB'84 (Speaker)
Managing Director, Symbiont

Ron Papanek, Managing Director and Head of Products at Symbiont, is responsible for rolling out smart contracts and distributed ledger technology to the financial services industry. Prior to joining Symbiont, Papanek led the Americas Alternative Investments Analytics Business at RiskMetrics/MSCI after running the HedgePlatform investor risk transparency business. Papanek also spent ten years at J.P. Morgan, as Vice President responsible for market making and proprietary trading in equity derivatives, mortgage-backed securities and treasuries.

Emmanuel Aidoo (Speaker)
Director, Credit Suisse

Emmanuel Aidoo is Director at Credit Suisse within the Global Markets Division where he leads the Emerging Technology Practice. He is an Intrepreneur with over 18 years at Credit Suisse and has worked in a variety of senior roles which include Global Head of Debt Capital Markets Technology and Global Head of Leverage Finance Technology.

Joe Salerno (Speaker)
CEO, Synaps

Joe Salerno is CEO of Synaps Loans LLC, a joint venture company of Symbiont and Ipreo, which develops distributed ledger applications for syndicated loans. With more than 20 years of experience as a fin-tech vendor, he has led the design and development of several software systems that have become household names in the syndicated loan market. He is licensed professional engineer (retired status) with a BS from Princeton and a licensed attorney with a JD from Rutgers.
