The Chicago Angels Network (C.A.N.) has successfully showcased nine start-ups in their previous pitch events supporting over US $500,000 of business development opportunities.
The following 3 exciting start-ups will pitch at the event on Saturday, 21 March
2015 at the Chicago Booth London Campus.
- Asteria Cleaners is an on-demand dry cleaning service delivered through a mobile app and website. Founded in London by a University of Chicago Alumna, the company reached £60,000 of revenues in 2014 and is partway through a £300,000 round to expand marketing activities and their services.
- Frugl is an events discovery app for Londoners on a budget.
Frugl connects unsold seats and time sensitive services to consumers at
discounted prices. Launched in 2014, Frugl already has over 15,000 users in London, and is generating buzz in the tech community. Frugl is looking to
close a £300,000 round.
- SoAmpli is an employee advocacy platform that allows companies to leverage their employees' social media networks in order to market their brand and products in a measurable and cost effective manner. SoAmpli is approaching angel investors to raise £700,000 for development and marketing within their target European market.
