Innovation, experimentation, learning, adaptation, and selection are the hallmark characteristics of efficient markets they are the cornerstones of both free market economies and biological evolution.

However these features are not intrinsic to some types of organisations and systems. Join Prof Robert Gertner as he explains how incorporating adaptive features of market economies could improve performance in organisations. Drawing on examples from individual purchasing decisions, corporate strategy, NGOs and regulatory processes, Prof Gertner will demonstrate how introducing 'Chicago School' free market economic principles can drive innovation and improve institutional performance.

Attend this session to learn how to approach decision making in a different way, whether on an individual or organizational level.
