Arun Rajamani (Speaker) '11
Principal (based in Singapore), The Boston Consulting Group
Arun Rajamani is a Principal with Boston Consulting Group and is based out of Singapore. He has 10+ years of experience across multiple geographies (North America, Middle East, India and SE Asia), across multiple industries (Energy, Chemicals, Manufacturing, Payments ...).
Arun is a core member of BCG's Energy practice in SE Asia and. At BCG, he has focused on supporting some of the largest Energy and Industrial Goods clients with some of their biggest problems (e.g. supporting design of a large IPO, launching a disruptive Payments platform, supporting the carve-out of a large vertically integrated company). He also has strong experience in 'Digital & Analytics' . Arun recently supported incubation of multiple ventures to disrupt the fuel retail market in SE Asia. He was involved in every facet of the venture - product build, business build and venture build.
Prior to BCG, he was the North America Marketing Manager for the Plastics Division of Dow Chemicals, based out of Houston. He managed a portfolio of specialty plastics with > $100 M P&L. Prior to Dow, he used to work in the Commercial function of Flowserve Corporation in Houston and was responsible for order acquisition of highly engineered products for the Oil & Gas industry.
Arun holds an MBA from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, a Master's in mechanical engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering from The Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

He is an accomplished technology business developer and serial entrepreneur with 23 years of experience in managing startups to successful business ventures. He developed new businesses in B2B and B2C spaces. G specializes in technology solutions development, technical valuation of new ventures, data analytics and customer experience.
He also serves as the Vice President of the Chicago Booth Alumni Club of Malaysia.
