There are 2 parking lots. The main visitor parking lot gets filled faster. There is an overflow parking lot. It is nearby and you can see directions towards it. It is a 10 minute walk-back to the Visitor Center.
Parking is free and first come - first serve.

Event Details
You will meet enthusiastic outdoor adventurists. We will assemble at the Kennesaw Visitor center by 10:00 AM. Post gentle warm-up we will start hiking. There are 2 peaks that we will hike.
What to get: Get water & light snacks/fruits, athletic wear clothes and comfortable shoes (with good grip), hiking stick (if you have one)
Experience: No prior experience or training required. There are chairs on the way if you want to sit / go slowly. If you like nature you will enjoy it.
Family: Yes they are welcome. Kids will enjoy it. Kids above 6 usually can go through the Big mountain hike. Kids below 6 and toddlers with strollers there is a road-stretch that they can follow.
Pets: Pets are allowed at the park however needs to be leashed.
Breakfast/Brunch: There are a few cool breakfast spots if anyone is interested to grab coffee / donuts / muffins & similar just outside the visitor center / park.
