Event Details

The MMC Film & TV Studios in Cologne are home to many international movie productions and popular TV shows, causing Oscar winning actor Ben Kingsley to call them "Europe's Hollywood". Films like "Der Medicus", Amélie or the Oscar nominated "Vorleser" have been shot at the studios. Furthermore, each year hundreds of series episodes and 200 TV shows like "Höhle der Löwen" or "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" are produced at MMC.

German Friends of LSE cordially invite you to our exclusive English language tour exploring the MMC studios on Saturday, 14 October. The tour will take us to the various parts of the studios, e.g. TV studios & soundstages, control rooms, a green-screen studio, different sets as well as make-up and set construction facilities. We will also get a short video-based introduction to the use of Visual Effects (VFX).

We will meet at the wardrobe of MMC Café on 14 October at 3.45 pm.
