A Cooking Class for All Maroons

Join us for our first Alumni event of the year: A cooking class at Con' Olio & Vinegars.
You are cordially invited to join your alumni friends for an evening of cooking.
We'll take you through a tasting to experience the amazing difference that fresh, high-quality extra virgin olive oils can make. You'll experience flavors ranging from intense and robust to mild, creamy and buttery. We'll explore olive oil's history, mythology, production process, health benefits, art of tasting and it's culinary uses. Sample oils from our superlative collection and see how they are scored at the International Olive Oil tasting competitions. We'll also take teach you how to detect rancid olive oil. Included with the class is cheese, artisan breads, vegetables, fresh olives, spanish marcona almonds and a cup of Mexican Vanilla ice cream from Amy's Ice Cream drizzled with our fresh EVOO! Chilled water will be served but you may purchase a glass of wine as well at the event. After the event we will open up our shop for your own personal tasting tour of our tasting boutique!
