Chicago Booth alumni club of Spain cordially invites you to a Thanksgiving dinner with guest speaker Luis Mañas Antón, AM '83, PhD '86.
What the University of Chicago taught me, by Luis Mañas Antón.
Luis is currently the CEO of the Arbitrage Group, working on fund management, as well as on energy and financial consulting. Among other clients, he has been advising the Mexican government on energy reform for the last 8 years. He is also non-executive director in several boards: Tubos Reunidos, Hispania, Aviva Spain, Pemex Spain.
Previously, Luis spent 20 years at Repsol, where he started as Chief Economist and ended as CFO.
Luis holds an MA and a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago, and Licenciado degrees in both Economics (with National Prize for Excellence) and Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He served at the Advisory board of Booth School of Business for several years.
