The global growth of for-profit and non-profit social enterprises has been mirrored by business schools' expansion of social enterprise curricula and activities. This presentation will explore business schools' role in supporting social enterprise, and Booth's differentiated approach to this sector. The presentation will feature Robert Gertner, deputy dean, Joel F. Gemunder professor of strategy and finance, and trustee of the National Opinion Research Center, and will be moderated by Luis Miranda, MBA '89, chairman of the advisory board of the Centre for Civil Society and a member of the Global Advisory Board of Chicago Booth.
