Piguet Hôtel des Ventes is a private auction house established in Geneva in 1978. Since its takeover in 2006 the auction house has grown into a point of reference on the Swiss market, identifying, developing and successfully leading a previously underserved market niche. Today Piguet Hôtel des Ventes sells annually nearly 15.000 works of art and objects valued between three hundred and one million Swiss Francs.

Bernard Piguet has worked in the art and auctions market for over 30 years. Following his education in business and economics at HEC Lausanne and art history at the Sotheby's Institute of Art in London, he joined Sotheby's in Geneva as head of the fine jewelry department. Later he set up his own consulting firm before acquiring the Hôtel des Ventes in 2006.
