Please join us for a talk with UChicago alum Luis Garicano, Member of the European Parliament and leader of Ciudadanos in Europe, as well as Vice-President of Renew Europe for Economic Affairs.
Before entering the world of politics, he was a professor of economics and strategy at IE and the London School of Economics. Previously, he was a professor at the University of Chicago, from where he also received his doctorate. His academic work focuses on the future of work, the relationship between technology and inequality, and economic growth.

Nos complace invitaros a una charla virtual con Luis Garicano, miembro del Parlamento Europeo y líder de Ciudadanos en Europa, así como Vicepresidente de Renew Europe para asuntos económicos. Antes de entrar en el mundo de la política fue profesor de economía y estrategia en el IE y en la London School of Economics; previamente fue profesor en la Universidad de Chicago, de donde también se doctoró. Su trabajo académico se enfoca el futuro del trabajo, la relación entre tecnología y la desigualdad, y el crecimiento económico.
