Our topic for this year's Fall Exchange is Leadership! It is an opportunity to explore our viewpoints on what is leadership, and more precisely, what it takes to lead. Innovative Female Empowerment - Rethink Leadership. Hear from Liem Le, an entrepreneur who wants us to reimagine social innovation and employee & community engagement, and alumni Laura Kempf, author of Inspiring Bold and Champion for leadership change. Relax with fellow Booth women for a fun evening at the Fall Exchange! Enjoy scintillating conversation, share laughter, strengthen old bonds and make new connections at this informal gathering in your hometown. All Booth women are welcome. She brings a wealth of experience in marketing, analytics, and research from startup and corporate environments, including Fortune 500 companies. Her work has taken her to the global stage to present as a thought leader, game changer, purposeful leader, and keynote speaker. Most recently, she was invited to keynote Heineken Women's Leadership Forum, lead a Fortune 500 Executive panel on building purpose at Converge, address a global audience on impact investing at Wealth and Society, chair the ALI Diversity and Inclusion Summit, and speak on social innovation as the next frontier at Wonder Women Tech. She received the 2018 Best of Best Leader Award from the Network of Executive Women and serves on several non-profit committees including The Field Museum Board of Trustees' Marketing Committee.

Laura Kempf authored her journey to servant leadership in a book titled “Inspiring Bold” and teaches Lean Leadership as an adjunct professor at Oakland University. After a successful career in Finance, Laura decided to take a different role as a Lean Champion. Little did she know at the time, that the new position would set her on a path for not only looking for process improvement but also improving her leadership style.
