What are the business opportunities of cannabis? Join the OCMBA for an evening with featured Speaker Bob Zukis, former PwC management consulting partner and global leadership team member, Founder/CEO of Digital Directors Network, author and USC Marshall School Professor, and Jeremy Carr, CEO of Exhale Med Center, as they discuss the past, present and future of legalized cannabis in all of its business manifestations.
Cannabis has been one of the most vilified plants in human history. With its legalization and growing social acceptance, a massive and rapidly growing industry is taking shape that goes far beyond its commonly perceived recreational use.
As the only academic who has taught a strategic case at the USC Marshall School of Business on cannabis, Bob Zukis shares his insights into this industry and its evolution from health and wellness, to construction, to clothing.
Bob and Jeremy will review the facts, data, and a historical summary of cannabis, followed by a discussion of recent developments, legalized territories and projections. We will also hear about the mainstream industry applications, strategic plans, and early investments by pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies as well as Jeremy's experience with running the Exhale Med Center and developing a portfolio of other cutting edge, cannabis-related ventures.
