Driving Directions:From South on the 101 heading northbound from San Jose, Sunnyvale or Cupertino, take the Shoreline Blvd. exit and make a right at the stoplight onto N. Shoreline Blvd., heading east. As you continue on N. Shoreline Blvd. you will pass through the gatehouse as it winds through the park, past the golf course, and Rengstorff House. Follow the signs to the Lakeside Café/Sailing Center. Shoreline Blvd. will dead-end in our parking lot.
Event Details
We will be meeting at the Shoreline Lake Aquatic Center in Mountain View. This event is sponsored in part by Joanna Sachs, at www.joannasachs.com, Alain Pinel Realtors, Palo Alto.
We will have potato sack races, tug of war, relay races, three-legged race, and water balloon toss for kids and adults. There will also be a wonderful magician to entertain the little ones!
There will be plenty of food and drinks for the whole family. We will have a fantastic catered lunch with assorted burgers and dogs, potato salad, salad, veggies, fruit and dessert. Alcohol is available at the bar at standard prices.
We will also have a "business card bowl" drawing!!

There are all kinds of activities at the center if you would like to spend the day there after the event. Whether you are looking for a day in the sun paddling about on lovely Shoreline Lake, the exhilaration of a windsurfing or sailing race, or to meander via bicycle along the many nature trails surrounding the lake, there is something for you. The center rents pedalboats, rowboats, canoes, kayaks, bicycles, and, to qualified windsurfers and sailors, our standard to high performance windsurfing equipment, and sailboats. The center also sells a variety of different kites, and there is an absolutely wonderful kite-flying area in the park!
Eric Sachs, BBC-certified sailor, will be available to take people out for short sails if interested.
