Mark is CEO of Commercial Bank International, a role he assumed in October 2014. CBI was established in 1991 and operates in the UAE. CBI shareholders include Qatar National Bank (QNB) which owns 40% and various UAE entities and individuals.
Mark had a long career with Citibank until 2010, which included regional CEO roles while based in India, Russia/CIS, Turkey and Central Europe. Prior to joining CBI, Mark was regional CEO at ANZ Bank, based in London, responsible for Europe, North America, Middle East and India. Mark graduated from the University of Chicago where he received a BA from The College and an MBA from the Booth School of Business. Mark is married to Lesley and they have four children.
Mark is also a Committee Member of the Chicago Booth Global Advisory Board EMEA Cabinet.
