Event Details

As the year 2017 is coming to an end and Christmas is approaching, German Friends of LSE cordially invite you to join the Cologne Ivy Circle for a Christmas dinner and optionally a guided tour in English of the exhibition "Tintoretto – a star was born" at Wallraff museum on Saturday, 25 November.

The exhibition celebrates the upcoming 500th birthday of the Italian painter genius by bringing priceless loans from the world's greatest museums to the Rhine, including works from London, Rome and Vienna. For example, Labyrinth of Love from the Royal Collection is presented for the first time together with masterpieces Tintoretto created during the same period.

Afterwards, our Christmas dinner takes place at the renowned, traditional restaurant Em Krützche, near Cologne cathedral. The dinner features a ¼ goose served in two dishes with salad and traditional trimmings and afterwards a desert. (No vegetarian option available.)
