An Introduction To Collecting Contemporary Art

Are you thinking of starting a collection, but need more direction than “the colors go well with the sofa”? Are you interested in learning more about art, but don’t know where to start? This Chicago GSB Club program provides an opportunity to get your questions answered and enjoy a relaxed Saturday afternoon with fellow alums. Our tour leader, Khloe Karova (’06) will provide an overview of starting a collection, art as an investment, and a brief history of the West Loop Gallery district. We will then visit nearby galleries where a gallery owner or representative will provide an overview of the gallery’s collection and insights about the artists represented. In order to allow ample time for interaction and discussion, attendance is strictly limited to no more than twenty persons. RSVP today!
