Shifting Dynamics in Energy: The New Rules of the Road for Supplying the World's Energy Needs
Event Details
The standard assumptions about energy supply and consumption from 5-10 years ago have shifted dramatically. While global consumption of energy is growing dramatically and environmental concerns continue, huge new supplies from conventional energy have emerged and the costs of renewable energy have substantially declined. What are the new "rules of the road" and what do they mean for the energy market's future? Mark Florian (Booth '82), a Managing Director from First Reserve, an energy industry-leading private equity firm, will discuss these dynamics.
