Join fellow Chicago Booth alumni and guests for our Second Annual Summer Networking Soiree to be held outdoors on the very large, beautiful sundeck of the East Bank Club in downtown Chicago. The sundeck offers a nice view of the sunset and urban scenery along the adjacent Chicago River. Event includes generous hors d'oeuvres and premium cash bar.
To help break the ice, we'll start the evening with an informal networking exercise called "Who Am I?" that is designed to celebrate Chicago and its well-known citizens. It's a great way to get to know fellow participants ... and more fun than the traditional "elevator speech". (Participation is optional.) To participate, you'll receive an extra name tag with the name of a famous Chicagoan that will be placed on your back. As you socialize, you can ask people you meet for clues about your famous alter ego. We suggest starting with simple questions such as "Am I female?" or "Am I alive today?" There's no time limit -- ask as many questions as you need in order to guess your identity!
