Event Details

Join us for networking and a panel discussion on Achieving Career Success. Panelists will discuss topics such as breaking gender myths and what it takes to be a great leader.  Panel guests include:

  • Bonnie Smith '98, VP Chief Information Officer of Lear Corporation
  • Shannon Flumerfelt, Associate Professor, Department of Organizational Leadership at Oakland University
  • Anju Bhalla '95, Director of Continuous Improvement, AxleTech International, LLC. Anju leads the deployment of strategic initiatives and business processes at all North American manufacturing and distribution locations. Anju has held a variety of roles in engineering, manufacturing, finance, and purchasing at Ford Motor Company, Xerox Corporation, Amazon, and Oshkosh Corporation.

The panel will be moderated by Laura Kempf '04, a Business Transformation Consultant at IBM Watson Health. Since the beginning of the company's lean journey, she has been influencing the lean transformation by leading teams in monthly lean events using break through thinking to improve processes.
