The Journalists in Residence Program is a transformative learning experience for journalists from around the world who are interested in deepening their understanding of the interactions between politics and the economy.

Application
Applications for the Spring 2025 program are open.
To be considered for the program, the following items must be submitted through our online application:
- Curriculum vitae
- Personal statements describing interest and goals for the program
- Two letters of recommendation
- Three published news articles
If the articles are not in English, a translation should be submitted along with the original articles. For TV or radio journalists, please include links to your video/audio files in a PDF or Word document along with English transcriptions. - (If applicable) Proof of English Proficiency
Non-native English speakers must submit proof of English proficiency. This is waived if the undergraduate or graduate degree was obtained in a college/university where English is the primary language of instruction.
Examples of proof of English proficiency include: Certificates or standardized test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, ACT, Cambridge, Duolingo, etc.); English equivalency diploma or certificate awarded by accredited national education institution; Work experience in an English-speaking office; Letter from employer/manager affirming language skills.
Note: all application materials must be submitted via the online portal. Materials sent via e-mail, social media, or other methods will not be considered.
Dates and Deadlines
The application for the Spring 2025 program is open.
Application deadline: October 13, 2024
Applicants will be notified of final decisions in December.
The Spring 2025 program will run from approximately March 19 - May 31, 2025.
