Health and Safety

Please postpone your visit if you feel unwell. The decision to mask is your own; we ask everyone to be courteous of others and respect their choices. 

Respect Others

Visitors who exhibit disruptive or disrespectful behavior may be asked to leave. Impermissible behavior includes: harassing, discriminatory, or threatening statements or behavior toward Mindworks staff or other visitors; excessive noise; exhibiting overt signs of intoxication; obstructing foot traffic; soliciting; loitering; political campaigning; posting of unauthorized materials.

Respect the Exhibits and Building

Visitors to Mindworks will not engage in the following:

  • Damaging, destroying, or stealing property of Mindworks, its staff, or its visitors.
  • Interacting with exhibits in a disruptive manner.
  • Improperly using restrooms, furniture, and common spaces.
  • Entering any non-public area without authorization.
  • Bringing animals (except service animals as defined by the ADA) into Mindworks.
  • Consuming food within the space (unless during approved events). Covered beverages (e.g., coffee or water with a lid) are permitted.
  • Bringing firearms to Mindworks. 

Adult Supervision

Mindworks is open to visitors of all ages. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible individual 18 years or older.

Oversized Items

Please do not leave personal possessions unattended. Mindworks is not responsible for lost, misplaced, or stolen items. Large items that pose a safety concern may be restricted. 

Your Safety Matters

If you feel unsafe and/or that you have been the target of harassment or discrimination, please report the issue to Mindworks staff either presently or afterward, even if anonymously, so that we can ensure a positive experience for you and other Mindworks visitors.
