Event Details
We have invited three prominent senior Alumni as guest speakers, JP Gan, '99, Richard Ho, '99 and Weiwen Han, '02, to talk about the latest trend of the industry and share their valuable experience with the Booth community. You will also have the opportunity to network with fellow Booth alumni active in the VC & PE industries in Shanghai. JP will be hosting the event at QiMing's office, in the JinMao Tower right in the center of the financial district.

JP Gan, '99 (Speaker)
Managing Partner, QiMing Venture Partners
Mr. Gan has been named a "Top Venture Capitalist" in China by multiple magazines and institutions including the Forbes Magazine, China Venture, CBN Weekly, The founder, and a "Business Elite under the Age of 40" by the Global Entrepreneur Magazine in 2006. JP is a director of Ctrip.com, Jiayuan.com International Limited and Taomee Holding. He obtained his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his BBA from the University of Iowa.
Richard Ho, '99 (Speaker)
Chairman and Founder, Athenee
Prior to founding Athenee, Richard was a Managing Director of TPG Capital in China, one of the largest private equity funds in the world with $56 billion under management. Richard led ~US$3 billion worth of deals related diligence, negotiation and evaluation across 20 deals in retail, cosmetics, apparel, FMCG and some industrial and TMT sectors. Prior to TPG, Richard was a global partner of Bain & Co. In the early part of his career, Richard worked at Boston Consulting and Morgan Stanley, Richard graduated with an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
Weiwen Han, '02 (Speaker)
, Partner, senior leader of PE in Greater China,, Bain & Company
Weiwen has works with a variety of private equity funds and alternative asset managers, including traditional buyout or growth capital firms, hedge funds, sovereign wealth funds, venture capital firms and banks. Prior to Bain, Weiwen was a senior consultant at Accenture in China and the United States. Weiwen is a graduate from Fudan University in Shanghai, and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.
