Dwain Celistan, an executive recruiter with over 20 years' experience in top sales and marketing roles, will share the methods of retained recruiters and will discuss their motivations. He'll frame the competitive landscape and provide practical guidance in how to create and build solid relationships with recruiters, and will provide and facilitate specific suggestions to initiate and establish contact.

Dwain H. Celistan leads the Gundersen Partners Chicago Office and Diversity practice, where he specializes in the dynamic consumer packaged goods, digital marketing and retail categories. In each of these fields, Dwain has extensive firsthand experience as both a line executive and a consultant. Gundersen Partners is a global retained executive search firm with offices in New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Detroit, Atlanta, London and Melbourne. The firm focuses on leadership talent in marketing, sales and general management functions across industries. Prior to joining Gundersen Partners, Dwain held senior Sales, Marketing and General Management positions for an impressive list of multinational packaged goods companies, both in the United States and abroad. During his 20+-year career, he has played significant leadership roles for Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Nabisco, Coors Brewing, Alcoa and Sears Holdings. His experience includes roles as VP of Marketing and Sales for a staff of nearly 100 professionals and budget of $100 million, and as an SVP of Marketing with a team of 110 professionals across including leading the brands, market research, PR and a substantial graphic design studio. Additionally, Dwain is a columnist for Family Digest on-line magazine with a readership of 3 million. Articles focus on career and success in the workplace. He also speaks on the subject to professionals and students. Dwain is a graduate of Loyola University and Atlanta University, with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration and an MBA, respectively. In addition, Dwain has done postgraduate work at both Cornell and Stanford Universities. Dwain resides in the Chicago area with his wife Liz and two teenage daughters.
