Climate Change - Splits within U.S. Industry Animate the Policy Debate with Stephen Eule, Vice President for Climate and Technology Institute for 21st Century Energy, U.S. Chamber of Commerce The climate change policy debate has become more ferocious in the U.S., with some energy companies resigning from the U.S. Chamber because of its perceived reticence to take more progressive positions. Mr. Eule, who leads the U.S. Chamber's climate and energy policy lobbying efforts, has been in the midst of this debate from the start. He will describe the dynamics at work in the U.S. as climate legislation moves through Congress and what we can expect in the lead up to the Copenhagen Conference. He will also discuss some of the fault lines in the international negotiations and how business can play a bigger role. This event will be on the record.
