Event Details

During the past several years we have seen significant growth in the use of statistical models to project real world trends. This has been made possible by the growth of the Internet, large databases containing information on consumer preferences, advances in computing power, and new statistical modeling tools. This presentation will focus on practical ways of using publicly available data to project demand for new products, company sales, and financial statement ratios. The presentation will include multiple examples, and is designed to be accessible to a non-quantitative audience.
