What is MIINT?

The MBA Impact Investing Network & Training (MIINT) program is an experiential learning opportunity through which students at leading US business schools source and conduct diligence on early-stage impact investments. At finals, each campus presents their recommendations to an investment committee composed of impact investors for a potential investment of $50,000, as part of an existing angel round. Spearheaded by Bridges Ventures US as part of its advisory/field-building arm (IMPACT+), this initiative seeks to lay the foundation for experiential education and collaboration among leading US business schools and to create a meaningful pipeline of future impact investments and impact investors.

Booth teams, consisting of four to six students each, have been participating in an impact investing seminar and are currently in the process of sourcing potential investments. The winner of this competition will then represent Booth at a competition in April against ten business schools at the national MIINT finals at the Wharton School of Business.
