Event Details

Global consumption of energy is growing, but the price of oil, gas and power has been going down. Coal-fired power is on the decline, being replaced with cleaner sources of power from renewables and natural gas. Energy storage and the electrification of vehicles could change all of the markets going forward into the future. How does one invest into a market with so many moving pieces, when technological changes can shift the economics dramatically and quickly? Mark Florian (Booth '82), who oversees BlackRock's Energy & Power Infrastructure Funds, will discuss these factors and what the future potentially holds.
