Speaker Profiles

Carol Fowler (Speaker), KloboMedia

Carol Fowler started her own social media management firm, KloboMedia, in 2014, just recently selected by Sprout Social to be a founding agency partner. Her firm specializes in advising small business and individuals on digital content strategy and currently manages the social campaigns - organic and paid - for the series WILD TRAVELS (WTTW11), television news anchor Sylvia Perez (FOX32), Ann Catherine clothing designs and the Athletico Center sports facility. Previously she worked as a news director at WGN9, CBS2 and FOX32.

Carol's current focus is her tech start-up, TheSocReports, which helps people succeed in social media by providing curated, competitive analysis. She's an active member of Chicago's tech incubator, 1871, and teaches on the topic of media innovation at Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism.
