Conversation with Thomas Hagmann and Visit to the Chocolate Academy
The CEO of Switzerland, Thomas Hagmann, held a presentation on the topic of "Investment in a Low-Interest Environment" and the impact this has on commodity prices, his business and investment decisions. He also gave an overview of Barry Callebaut and the chocolate/cocoa value chain more generally.
Following the Q&A, we moved into Barry Callabaut's professional pastry & confectionary laboratory where the attendees worked with a professional chef on their own chocolate creations.
