Renée Berman, ’98
Renée Berman, ’98, is a senior executive with strong business management, nonprofit, and strategy consulting experience. She is currently a consultant to financial institutions on strategic projects.
Previously, Berman has served in senior roles at Credit Suisse, the Philanthropy Group, and as COO of Equity Derivatives Americas. At the Philanthropy Group, Berman managed a $10 million disaster relief fund in Hong Kong established after the 2004 tsunami. While at the Goldman Sachs Foundation, she was responsible for an $8 million portfolio of grants that fostered social entrepreneurship, including business plan competitions that promoted double bottom line investments.
Berman has a background in strategy consulting from Bain and the Bridgespan Group, Bain’s affiliate that provides consulting to nonprofits.
Berman has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Busines, where she graduated with high honors, and a undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
