Charisse Conanan Johnson, ’10
Charisse Conanan Johnson, ’10, is a partner and head of Next Street’s Chicago office, specializing in finance, investing, and entrepreneurial strategy. She builds strategic relationships for the firm, helps drive the firm’s strategy, and oversees a diverse portfolio of clients in the Chicago market.
Prior to Next Street, Conanan Johnson was a director from the Chicago Infrastructure Trust, where she led multi-million dollar infrastructure deals for the first municipal infrastructure bank in the US. She also founded and served as CEO of Smarteys, Inc., which provided college grabs with a web-based technology platform for financial planning.
Before Smarteys, Conanan Johnson was a vice president at JPMorgan Asset Management in New York City, where she conducted stock market research that covered 18 percent of the $10 billion JPMorgan Mid Cap Value Fund. Conanan Johnson is also a general partner at the Bulldog Innovation Group, a chartered financial analyst (CFA) charter holder, a sought after financial expert, and a financial contributor to the Huffington Post and American Express OPEN.
Conanan Johnson is a graduate of Yale University and earned her MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
