1984 brought the Macintosh that would go on to revolutionize the world of personal computers. Virgin Airlines launched its first flight and the Olympic Games were celebrated in Los Angeles with the US bringing home the most medals of any nation. Ghostbusters "wowed" audiences with its visual effects, laughs, and an iconic theme song.
