1979 saw many changes. The first woman was elected Prime Minister in the United Kingdom. A nuclear accident disrupted the States. New electronics and games hit the market and sports became readily available. The Class of 1979 embarked on their new journeys with Booth degrees in hand!

Celebrate Your 40-Year Reunion

1979 was a year of firsts. The first female mayor of Chicago, Jane Byrne, takes office. The Three Mile Island nuclear accident disrupted Pennsylvania and shocked America. The Walkman, Trivial Pursuit, and ESPN was launched, bringing music to our pockets, trivia to our game nights, and never ending sports to our TVs.
