Why SBSP?
If you are interested in pursuing an MBA at some point, this program is well worth your time. It provided me with the opportunity to network with Booth staff and professors, as well as to get firsthand advice from people who had already attained their MBAs. In addition, I was able to learn some new skills that I can apply in the workplace.
Corporate Visits
Corporate visits provided an inside look at what it would be like to work for several of Chicago’s most prestigious companies. It was a great experience to learn what the employees actually do, meet some influential people at the companies, and interact with classmates in a business setting outside the classroom. I had never considered working for many of the companies we visited but visiting gave me exposure to different careers.
Exploring Chicago
My most memorable experience was going to dinner with fellow SBSPers. One night we all went to an Indian restaurant. What made it special was that several of my classmates were from India, which provided a unique dining experience. People were able to explain what each type of food was and how they dined in India. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn about another culture while bonding with my peers.
