Undergraduate school/major: I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and majored in electrical engineering.

Concentrations: Strategic management, finance, and entrepreneurship.

Activities: Member of the Management Consulting Group, Booth Technology Group, Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Group, Middle East and North Africa Group, and Soccer Club.

Career plans: I am recruiting for an internship in consulting.

Why did you choose Chicago Booth? I wanted to begin my career transition into business. Coming from engineering, I wanted to go to a school that valued academics so that I could really learn the essential business fundamentals. Booth has a very large and friendly alumni base who embody the "pay it forward" mantra of the school. Booth's exceptional academic and Career Services were vital in my decision as I wanted to be properly supported and prepared as I launch my new career. Attending Admit Weekend sealed it for me as the people I met made me feel welcome and part of the Booth family, and I couldn't ask for anything more from a business school.

Use three adjectives to describe your experience at Chicago Booth: Exhilarating, challenging, and thought-provoking.

What do you consider a "must visit" place or "must do" activity in Chicago? Walking along the streets of downtown Chicago in the early evening during a nice winter day and the lights of the skyscrapers and the cold winter air make you feel so alive and inspired.

Ask me about...: Switching careers from engineering to consulting and starting a business school with a family.
