Why did you choose Chicago Booth? I chose Booth because I was attracted to the school's approach to challenging ideas and developing rigorous support for such challenges. I was excited by the broad, flexible curriculum and the faculty present at Booth to teach classes and learn from beyond the classroom. I was intrigued by what I could learn from my fellow classmates. The decision to attend Booth was ultimately very easy.

Use three adjectives to describe your experience at Chicago Booth: Exciting, collaborative, and remarkable.

What do you consider a "must visit" place or "must do" activity in Chicago? For me, must-do activities in Chicago all relate to getting an authentic feel of the city through sports, culture, and food. Experiencing the atmosphere around Wrigelyville and an afternoon ballgame in the sun with a "Chicago dog" at Wrigley Field, a chilly evening at Soldier Field cheering on the Bears, or discovering the wide array of local food from barbecued game meats with a group of people (lamb, pig, or even alligator!) at Frontier to local farm-produced menus at a suburban cafe in Rogers Park.

Ask me about...: Booth and Chicago from an international student's perspective, my background in investment banking and switching careers toward investment management, and where to find authentic Australian products in the US!
