Assistant Director of Admissions Outreach
Kelsey joined the Full Time Admissions team in September 2015. In addition to serving as part of the admissions committee she works with the Operations Team on global outreach and events. Prior to Chicago Booth, Kelsey travelled as an Educational Leadership Consultant visiting collegiate campuses across the country. She earned her bachelor’s degree is Nonprofit Management from Indiana University, where she interned for the Student Life and Learning office and became a die-hard Hoosier Basketball fan.
In addition to serving as part of the admissions committee, Kim works with the operations team on global outreach and events. Prior to Chicago Booth, Kim worked in The University of Chicago's Career Advancement office as a career advisor, advising undergraduate students within the UChicago Careers in Business program. Kim earned her bachelor of arts degree in hospitality and business at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Additionally, Kim has a master’s of arts degree in counseling for higher education and student affairs from Montclair State University.
Tyler Smith joined the Full-Time MBA Admissions team in January 2014. Tyler serves as a member of the Admissions Committee and focuses on evaluations, operations, and scholarships. Tyler attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received his BA. Tyler previously worked with Booth’s Evening MBA and Weekend MBA Admissions team focusing on operations. Tyler grew up in the St. Louis area and moved to Chicago in 2008. Tyler’s favorite pastimes are cooking, reading, and trying new restaurants. Tyler currently resides in Wicker Park, his favorite Chicago neighborhood.
Nicole serves on the Admissions Committee, focusing on operations and alumni engagement. Prior to Chicago Booth, Nicole worked in the University of Chicago Office of Career Advancement as a career advisor for the UChicago Careers in STEM program. In this role, she advised undergraduate students through the internship and job search processes and graduate school applications. Nicole earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Asian Studies at the University of Michigan and holds a Master of Education degree in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she also worked in the Admissions Office. Nicole lives in Lincoln Park and spends most of her time trying new restaurants and going to random events around the city. She also enjoys reading, dancing, traveling, and cheering on Michigan sports teams.
