Assistant Director, Admissions
Kimberly Epps joined Chicago Booth’s Full-Time Admissions Office in July 2015. Kim is Assistant Director on the Outreach Team and is responsible for the Campus Visit Program and Booth Live events. Prior to Booth, Kim worked in the non-profit sector and has held positions at American Bar Association and American Library Association. Born and raised in Chicago, Kim received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Governors State University and a Meeting, Convention and Exhibition Management Certificate from Roosevelt University. Kim volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House near the University of Chicago Comer Hospital. You can catch Kim on the sidelines cheering on her son at various sporting events in her spare time.
Laura Gontijo de Vasconcellos
Laura is a second year student originally from Brazil. Before Booth, she lived in São Paulo and worked in investment banking for almost five years. During the summer, she interned for a real estate private equity fund based in Chicago, focused on emerging markets investments. She is concentrating in Finance, Entrepreneurship, Economics, and Accounting. On campus, she is involved with Global Booth Ambassadors, LATAM Group, and Private Equity Group.
Stu is a second-year student pursuing concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, and Marketing Management. He is an Admissions Fellow, co-chair of Innovation & Design Club, and a Board Fellow. Born and raised in Brazil, prior to Booth Stu spent seven years working in New Business Development at BRMalls, the largest shopping mall company in Latin America, as well as International Meal Company, a food-retail company in the Americas. Over the summer, Stu interned as a Strategy Associate at Handvaerk, an e-commerce start-up of luxury basics, and he is currently founding Muu, a low-calorie ice cream company in Brazil.
Stephen is a second year student originally from Cameroon. Before Booth, he worked at Ernst & Young in their Transaction group for about 5 years. During the summer, he interned at Morgan Stanley in London working primarily on real estate transactions. On campus, Stephen is involved with Global Booth Ambassadors and is a Co-chair of the Chicago African Business Club.
