Joanna Zisis , Senior Associate Director, Admissions
Joanna joined the Full Time MBA Admissions office in August 2007 and has worked with various groups across the team. Currently as Communications Specialist, she works on developing and executing integrated marketing and communication strategies. Prior to Booth Joanna served as an account executive for marketing and advertising agencies New York and Chicago. Joanna's experience in higher education includes managing admissions for the Chicago Campus of Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, as well as acting as student advisor, instructor, and program coordinator for Lorenzo de’ Medici – The Italian International Institute, an international university in Florence, Italy. Joanna received her bachelor's degree in journalism from Ohio University and her MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Leo Kertsman , Current Student
Leo K Leo is a first-year student pursuing concentrations in Strategy, Marketing and Entrepreneurship. He grew up in Israel, and completing his service as an officer in the Israeli Air Force, he earned his BA in Economics and East Asian Studies from the Hebrew University. Before Booth, Leo lived in Asia, doing business development for a tech startup in Taiwan, and prior to that working as head of Asian operations for a consumer goods company out of LA. Currently, Leo is a member of MoveSimple, a team competing in Booth's New Venture Challenge. This summer Leo will intern as Senior Product Manager at Amazon in Seattle.

Melanie Chin , Current Student
Melanie C Melanie Chin is a first-year student and a native of Los Angeles, CA. She received her bachelor of science degree from Carnegie Mellon University with a major in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Economics. Prior to Booth, she worked as an analyst at Vitech Systems Group in software consulting and systems implementation. At Booth, she is pursuing concentrations in Analytic Management, Marketing Management, and Strategic Management. She is actively involved in the Booth Technology Group, Marketing Group, Dean's Student Admissions Committee (DSAC), Wine Club, and Booth Dance Club.

Sharan Kumaresan , Current Student
Sharan photo Sharan is a first-year student at Booth pursuing concentrations in Strategic Management and General Management. Born and raised in India, he has Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Prior to Booth he spent four years in the energy industry with Shell.

Vikram Sivakumar , Current Student
Vik photo Vikram Sivakumar (Vik) is a first year at Booth. Prior to Booth, he worked in various Technology roles in Barclays (Singapore & India) & Spotify (Sweden). He studied computer science at the National University of Singapore. This summer he will an intern with Amazon. At Booth, he is a co-chair for BoothEd(Education Club) and the Public Speaking & Communication Group. He is also a LEAD facilitator and will read the Random Walk to China.
