Assistant Director of Admissions Outreach
Kelsey joined the Full Time Admissions team in September 2015. In addition to serving as part of the admissions committee she works with the Operations Team on global outreach and events. Prior to Chicago Booth, Kelsey travelled as an Educational Leadership Consultant visiting collegiate campuses across the country. She earned her bachelor’s degree is Nonprofit Management from Indiana University, where she interned for the Student Life and Learning office and became a die-hard Hoosier Basketball fan.
Kathleen is a first-year student at Chicago Booth pursuing concentrations in Strategic Management and Managerial and Organizational Behavior. She has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Colby College. Prior to Booth, Kathleen worked in economic consulting at Cornerstone Research in Boston for almost four years. At Booth, she is a Board Fellow with NetImpact as well as an active member of CWiB, Chicagonomics, the Dean’s Student Admissions Committee, and the Management Consulting Group. Kathleen is excited to join Bain & Company in their Chicago office this summer.
Senior Associate Director, Career Management
Heather Packo provides career coaching to Full-Time MBA students and designs and facilitates innovative career programming for Chicago Booth students. As a Certified MBA Career Coach, she works with students to create partnerships that lead to increased career success and satisfaction. Prior to joining Chicago Booth, Heather served as the Director of Academic & Career Management at Northwestern University, also holding positions at various institutions of higher education including Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and Emerson College. Formally, Heather served as a Music Industry Executive at Sony Music Entertainment.
Heather earned a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and a Master of Arts from The Ohio State University. She has also completed coursework from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Dheeraj is a second-year MBA candidate at Chicago Booth with intended concentrations in Strategic Management and Marketing Management. He grew up in 4 countries (India, Romania, Russia, and Singapore) before coming to the US for college. After graduating from Swarthmore, Dheeraj taught high school math in low-income neighborhoods through the Philadelphia Teaching Fellows. After teaching, Dheeraj joined Mu Sigma, the largest pure-play analytics consulting firm and founded by a Booth alum, where he specialized in sales and marketing analytics for the pharmaceutical industry. Dheeraj interned over the summer in A.T. Kearney in New York but will be with them in Chicago full time because he wants to stay connected to Booth and his friends.
Matthew is a first-year student pursuing concentrations in Strategic Management, General Management and Finance. Born in Australia, Matthew earned a Bachelor of Business (Finance) and Bachelor of Laws (Honors) at the Queensland University of Technology. Prior to Booth, Matthew practiced law in Australia for over 5 years, specializing in structured finance and derivatives. Matthew is recruiting for management consulting and general management summer internships.
Belen Bazano Sammartino
Belen is a second-year student at Booth. She grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina and went to college at the Universidad de San Andres where she studied her undergrad and Master’s degree in Economics. Prior to Booth, Belen worked for a financial services and big data startup in Boston, managing teams in three countries and developing products. Belen spent her summer interning with A.T. Kearney as a consultant in Chicago, and she will be joining Bain & Company in the Washington D.C. office upon graduation. At Booth, Belen is a co-chair of the Management Consulting Group (MCG) and the Latin America Business Group (LABG), a member of Graduate Business Council (GBC), a Teaching Assistant for the courses Competitive Strategy and Data-Driven Marketing, Country Captain for Argentina, and an Admissions Fellow.
