Megha is a first-year student at Booth, pursuing concentrations in Marketing and Strategic Management. An engineer by education, Megha worked with two tech startups and Samsung Electronics prior to joining Booth. As a Production Planner at Samsung, Megha was overseeing the manufacturing, launch and export of mobile phones. Most recently, she worked with a social media start-up at the Polsky Accelerator. At Booth, Megha is one of the country captains for India and is an active member of Booth Technology Group, Booth Analytics Club, Chicago Women in Business and Giving Something Back.
Maria is a second year student pursuing concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Finance and Marketing. Maria studied Economics and Political Science in Mexico. Prior to coming to Chicago Booth, Maria worked at McKinsey&Company where she specialized in strategy projects for the Public Sector. During the summer, Maria interned with a consumer goods startup in Mexico, launched by Booth alumni. Outside of school, Maria loves to travel and enjoys discovering new restaurants in Chicago.
Viva Zhou Ronco
Viva is a first year MBA student at Booth. She started her career as an investment banking analyst at J.P. Morgan TMT group in New York. She then moved to Brazil, spent almost two years heading customer strategy at a local Uber competitor in Latin America. Her most recent position before Booth was as a consultant at BCG's São Paulo office. At Booth, she is the country captain of China and is active in BoothEd, Technology Group and the Greater China club.
Stephen is a second year MBA student pursuing concentrations in Strategic Management, Marketing Management and Economics. Born in Korea and raised in Canada, Stephen received a bachelor's degree with honors in mathematics from the University of Waterloo. Prior to coming to Booth, Stephen spent three years as a Senior Associate in the audit and advisory practice of BDO LLP in Toronto. Last summer, he interned at Deloitte Consulting's Strategy & Operations practice in Chicago, where he helped develop an international market entry strategy and facilitate cross-border deals for the firm's clients. After graduation, Stephen will be returning to Deloitte as a Senior Consultant.
In addition to serving as part of the admissions committee, Kim works with the operations team on global outreach and events. Prior to Chicago Booth, Kim worked in The University of Chicago's Career Advancement office as a career advisor, advising undergraduate students within the UChicago Careers in Business program. Kim earned her bachelor of arts degree in hospitality and business at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Additionally, Kim has a master’s of arts degree in counseling for higher education and student affairs from Montclair State University.
